We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at National Beef Packing Co., LLC. This is a critical role that will play a key part in supporting the success of our organization.

About the Role

The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for providing HR support to our management team, ensuring compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and HR best practices. This includes assisting with plant hiring, terminations, disciplines, payroll, and records keeping, as well as maintaining training programs, insurance policies, and company benefits.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for handling all administrative actions in HR, including Kronos, Payroll, Attendance policy/bonus, benefits, newsletter, and other policies. They will also be required to maintain company Vacations, daily reports, monthly reports, quarterly reports, and manage other projects needed by the Human Resource Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with plant hiring, terminations, disciplines, payroll, and records keeping
  • Maintain training programs, insurance policies, and company benefits
  • Handle all administrative actions in HR, including Kronos, Payroll, Attendance policy/bonus, benefits, newsletter, and other policies
  • Maintain company Vacations, daily reports, monthly reports, quarterly reports
  • Manage other projects needed by the Human Resource Manager
  • Present write-ups for attendance, tardiness, and performance issues if necessary
  • Ensure compliance with Agency, State, and Federal policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Provide guidance/assistance to employees and supervisors on HR policies
  • Confidentiality and compliance with HIPPA
  • Knowledge in our CBA and maintain a good working relationship with Union representative(s)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A preferred bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, preferably in the food distribution or warehouse industry
  • Knowledge of labor laws, safety regulations, and HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and HR software (e.g., iCIMS, UKG, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented food manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Bilingual preferred but not required
Salary and Benefits

This is a competitive salary position with an estimated annual salary range of $60,000-$80,000 based on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including family-friendly benefits, company-paid disability and life insurance, paid vacation, 401(k) with company match, and employee meat purchase program.
