Procurement Analyst

About the Role:

Dick's Sporting Goods is seeking a highly skilled Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing optimal procurement strategies to ensure maximized value within Facilities, Construction, and Visual Merchandising categories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business leaders to develop a comprehensive strategic procurement plan, including analysis of current spend, contracts, and supply base, as well as market trends and key cost drivers.
• Lead the Request For (RFI/RFP/RFQ) process, working closely with business partners to ensure successful outcomes.
• Develop and execute fact-based supplier negotiations and progressive supplier relationship management activities, requiring strong collaboration with business leaders and clear communication with suppliers.
• Facilitate the contract review and negotiation process, working closely with the procurement team to identify areas of opportunity and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, or related Business Field.
• Five to seven years of experience in data analytics, retail experience preferred.
• CPM/CPSM certification (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Sourcing and procurement technology experience (Ariba or equivalent).
• PeopleSoft Financials or equivalent experience.
• SharePoint proficiency (preferred).
• Prior experience within Facilities, Construction, and Visual Merchandising categories (retail experience a plus).
• Advanced sourcing and procurement knowledge, with pragmatism to manage expectations.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence others, with knowledge of legal contract terminology and general financial skills.
