We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team at Ascension Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to women before, during, and after pregnancy, including care of the newborn.
Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Patient Care Plans: Develop comprehensive plans of care and discharge plans based on assessments and integration of medical plans.
- Provide Education and Counseling: Educate and counsel patients and their families on pregnancy, childbirth, newborn care, contraception, family planning, and gynecological care.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide patient-centered care and promote informed decision-making.
- Monitor and Record Patient Progress: Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Licensure and Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and certification as a Nurse Midwife from the American Midwifery Certification Board.
- Education: Master's or Doctorate of Science in Nursing or Midwifery or Doctorate of Nursing Practice.
