Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with students, teachers, and parents to assess and cater to the distinct needs of each student.
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and overall functional abilities.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, either individually or in group settings, aligning with their educational objectives.
  • Adapt classroom environments and suggest adaptive equipment or assistive technology as needed to facilitate students' engagement and success in academic and social activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders, and actively participate in team meetings and IEP discussions.

Requirements:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license.
  • Masters Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Passion for working with children and a strong commitment to making a positive impact in a school-based setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Ability to adjust therapy techniques and approaches based on the unique needs and abilities of each student.
