Job Summary:
The Ski & Ride School Department at PowderMonarch LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ski School Junior Mountain Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting and working closely with the Ski & Ride School Director/Assistant Director in the overall organization and execution of activities needed for the daily operation of Monarch Mountain's Junior Mountain ski/snowboard lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in conjunction with other employees and departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of forms, tracking, verifications, and documentation.
- Assist in the hiring and training of department staff.
- Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and checklists.
- Provide professional solutions and courteous assistance in problem-solving for guests and employees.
- Monitor and maintain department supplies, properties, and facilities.
- Teach hill setup, coordinate with other departments, and facilitate the opening of Ski School specific terrain.
- Establish a workable daily schedule of activities for skiing and non-skiing children.
- Work with Ski & Ride School personnel to prepare and transition Junior Mountain participants.
- Plan and provide lunch and snack menus for daily Junior Mountain lessons.
Requirements:
- Minimum Age: 21
- Legal citizen of the United States or possess other proper work permit authentication.
- High School Diploma or GED required, college degree preferred.
- A valid driver's license and good, company insurable driving record required.
- Skiing and/or snowboarding experience required.
- Background check required.
- 1 year of prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Current PSIA/AASI membership and minimum of Level I certification is required.
