Job Responsibilities

• Housekeeping Duties - Execute cleaning and sanitation tasks including dusting and mopping floors in designated areas. Sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, tubs, floors, and toilets. Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of patient room furniture, sitting areas, and dining room furnishings. Manage waste disposal and complete all other related tasks as assigned.
• Safety Protocols - Utilize protective gear during all tasks. Ensure the safe and proper mixing and application of cleaning solutions while adhering to safety guidelines. Report equipment or cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisors promptly. Maintain established safety and quality standards. Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment. Adhere to proper reporting, isolation, and handwashing procedures.
• Attendance - Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality. Complete assigned cleaning tasks according to schedule. Respond to paging systems in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Customer Interaction - Represent HCSG positively by following instructions and being courteous and cooperative with supervisors, colleagues, and client staff.
• Resident Engagement - Foster positive and respectful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to follow both oral and written instructions while performing routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• After completing all necessary training, utilize leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently and safely.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be able to report to work as scheduled and on time.
• Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Clients.
• Must be capable of lifting/carrying a maximum of 50 pounds, pushing/pulling a maximum of 50 pounds, and standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Must reside within the service area.
