About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Trane Technologies in La Crosse, WI. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable manufacturing production processes, operating innovative engineered systems, and driving quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop quality and manufacturing process concepts for new designs and existing product changes.
  • Provide manufacturing engineering support for special engineered products.
  • Review engineering designs confirming manufacturing capability or sourcing capability.
  • Create product and PFMEA (Process FMEAs) to drive control plant development.
  • Review engineering changes to existing products to determine effects on current manufacturing processes; update processes and documentation to support viable changes.
  • Determine effects of process and product changes on tooling, CNC programming, and other methods of manufacture.
  • Recommend and justify requests for capital; analyze and evaluate production capacities and resource requirements for each project.
  • Drive project speed and measurable results on schedule and budget.
  • Take responsibility for all communication between manufacturing, product engineer, and marketing on project status.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Project Management, Process Automation, and AutoCAD or similar design software experience.
  • Aptitude for mechanical/electrical application as related to equipment/processes.
  • Communication skills to articulate the voice of the customer.
  • Ability to coach, advise, and develop teammates and peers.
Compensation

Base Pay Range: $110,000-$130,000. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
