As an Industrial Coatings Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to apply protective coatings and prepare structural steel components utilized in the construction of various infrastructures. This role involves utilizing high-quality marine-grade paints and coatings to ensure durability against corrosion and environmental wear.

Your duties will encompass:

  • Executing wet coat applications with precision
  • Setting up and calibrating equipment for optimal paint application
  • Interpreting blueprints to accurately layout pieces for painting
  • Assisting in the handling and movement of steel materials using overhead cranes

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Experienced in wet paint application techniques
  • Skilled in spray painting methods

Key Attributes:

  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail

Work Environment:

This position is fully on-site and offers a clean, modern workspace within a relaxed atmosphere. You will operate independently at your designated station in a small team setting, fostering a collaborative culture. Safety gear, including steel toe boots, is mandatory, and additional personal protective equipment (PPE) will be supplied.
