Job Summary:
The EIS Analyst III plays a crucial role in the development and configuration of Radiology applications.

This position is responsible for the comprehensive setup of workflows, system configurations, documentation of changes, and operational support for the application.

The analyst operates independently with minimal oversight and serves as a knowledge resource for junior EIS Analysts.

Qualifications:

Required:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Radiology imaging workflows as an application administrator
In-depth knowledge of PowerScribe One
Expertise in PACS applications

Preferred:
Experience in Project Management
Advanced understanding of Change Healthcare PACS

Key Responsibilities:

Application Design and Configuration:
- Develop and configure the designated application
- Collaborate with Operations to enhance the application's capabilities and workflows
- Utilize best practices from Galaxy for optimal builds and solutions
- Conduct thorough reviews of all foundational builds and operational requests
- Assess current workflows and propose technological enhancements
- Create data fields, screens, templates, and custom functionalities as needed
- Review and refine training materials
- Analyze necessary application modifications
- Adhere to build standards and maintain synchronization across environments
- Operate with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
- Serve as a resource for junior analysts
- Assist in the development of Change Readiness documentation and demonstrations

Application Support:
- Provide support during the go-live phase for new applications
- Offer on-call assistance during and after the go-live period
- Represent the application in Integrated Area Workgroups
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter
- Collaborate with customers and informatics on enhancement requests
- Document system modifications and updates continuously
- Address complex issues proactively
- Share knowledge and mentor junior staff
- Validate work completed by newly certified or junior analysts
- Stay informed about industry trends and application enhancements

Documentation and Communication:
- Maintain and close support and enhancement tickets with detailed notes
- Communicate with customers regarding ticket resolutions
- Log decisions and issues in tracking systems during builds
- Support application governance, including business case development
- Maintain version control of workflows and decision logs
- Supervise basic issues and escalate as necessary
- Communicate with supervisors for necessary escalations
- Present information clearly to project teams

Project Management:
- Identify areas for process improvement
- Develop future state documentation
- Manage smaller to medium-scale builds
- Ensure adherence to change control processes
- Collaborate with team members and operational staff
- Develop test scripts for new systems and upgrades

Unique Requirements:
- Initial ramp-up period of 6 months followed by on-call expectations
