Job Overview

Toolcraft Machining is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team on the 3rd shift. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating our Vertical Turning Centers (VTLs) to produce complex precision components for various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and operate VTLs with minimal supervision
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances
  • Determine tooling requirements and setup procedures
  • Monitor and adjust machine controls to prevent out-of-tolerance machining
  • Measure parts for conformance to blueprint specifications
  • Assist in solving technical challenges and work problems
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in CNC machining, specifically with VTLs
  • Ability to setup VTLs with little to no supervision
  • Experience with Mastercam programming and editing a plus
  • Experience with Fanuc controls preferred
  • Ability to lift materials up to 50 pounds and operate overhead crane and hoists
  • Shop math skills
