We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Vidant Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing safe, expedient, and cost-effective respiratory care services to patients of all ages with respiratory illnesses and other cardiopulmonary disorders.

• Evaluate and treat patients with respiratory illnesses and other cardiopulmonary disorders in a wide variety of clinical settings.
• Develop and implement respiratory care plans, including patient assessment, treatment selection, and reassessment of treatment efficacy.
• Provide education to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
• Document patient care and treatment in the medical record.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

• American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Associate Degree or higher in an approved CoARC program for Respiratory Care.
• Active licensure with the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board upon hire and is maintained yearly.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registry Eligible with RRT credential obtained within 1 year of graduation.

• Experience in respiratory care.
