Job Summary

The Christina M McAlpin MD is a leading medical practice specializing in Otolaryngology (ENT). We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive medical histories and physical exams related to ENT issues.
  • Diagnose and treat ear, nose, and throat conditions under the supervision of the ENT physician.
  • Assist in minor surgical procedures in-office, such as ear tube insertions, biopsies, and nasal endoscopies.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education and follow-up appointments.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests such as CT scans, MRIs, audiograms, and other relevant studies.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate within the scope of practice.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
  • Manage acute and chronic ENT conditions such as sinusitis, hearing loss, and allergies.
  • Provide patient education on preventive care, treatment plans, and post-surgical recovery.
  • Coordinate care with audiologists, speech therapists, and other specialists as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system (EMR).
  • Stay current with developments in ENT treatments and technologies to offer the best patient care.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in Otolaryngology (ENT) preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of ENT disorders, treatments, and surgical procedures.
  • Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual speaking preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and the medical team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
