Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Coding Specialist to join our team at Maury Regional Health. As a Coding Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing patients' charts and performing ICD-10 and CPT coding for DRG and APC assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review patients' charts and perform accurate coding for DRG and APC assignments
  • Work with medical staff and hospital staff to obtain documentation for accurate coding
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and compliant coding practices
  • Stay up-to-date with coding regulations and guidelines

Requirements:

  • RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC or coding certification
  • 1 year of related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
