Carpentry Specialist with PeopleReady Skilled Trades will support experienced carpenter contractors throughout Orange County. This temporary role offers weekly pay, health insurance benefits, and a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Wood Framing; Metal Framing; Finish Work
  • Prepare the layout and scope of work for the project
  • Install metal and wood framing and roof truss components
  • Use hand and electric tools to cut and fabricate and install framework components
  • Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks and props, using hand tools
  • Shape and cut materials to specific measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws along with sanding
  • Install doors, windows, stairs, baseboards, and crown molding
  • Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, finishing interior and exterior trim, and other wooden fixtures
  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard
  • Work with and install bathroom partitions
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment

Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prior experience in carpentry with a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Self-sufficient and fully tooled in the trade
  • E-Verify - Eligible to work in the USA
  • Verifiable work history that confirms your experience in the trade
