Physician Locum Tenens Position in Western GA

A hospital is seeking a skilled gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in a western region of the state of Georgia. The position features a 1-week on, 1-week off schedule, commencing on January 1, 2025.
During the work week, shifts are from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with 2 days extending to 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (clarification needed on exact days).
Procedures include endoscopic gastroscopies, colonoscopies, and banding, with endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) skills preferred but not required. Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) is not part of the role. Support from advanced practice providers (APPs) and anesthesia is provided. The electronic medical record (EMR) system is EPIC, and it takes approximately 120 days to gain privileges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care as a gastroenterologist
- Perform endoscopic procedures, including EGDs, colonoscopies, and banding
- Collaborate with APPs and anesthesia to ensure seamless patient care
- Work effectively in an EPIC EMR system
Requirements:
