Job Summary:

This position plays a vital role in supporting the mission of Community Healthcore by providing maintenance services to our residential and commercial facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Organization Improvement Team to identify areas for improvement and implement preventative maintenance strategies to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform skilled work in one or more maintenance and building construction trades, including maintenance and repair of buildings, utility systems, stationary equipment, and motorized equipment.
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Work with the Organization Improvement Team to identify areas for improvement and implement preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of facilities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/trade school training or equivalent combination of education and prior work experience preferred.
  • 2 years' experience in commercial/residential building maintenance and repair.
  • Working knowledge of building preventative maintenance, plumbing, HVAC systems, electric systems, lawncare, and fire and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and recognize work and maintenance needs without prompt.
  • Physical stamina to work in inclement weather and sufficient equilibrium to work on ladders, scaffolding, or roofs.

Physical Demands:

  • Reaching, walking, lifting, finger dexterity, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, kneeling, crouching, crawling, travel.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
  • May be required to work in inclement weather conditions.

Compensation:

$20.70 per hour
