Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic to join our team at Dolphin Transportation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of repairs on our fleet of vehicles, including cars, buses, coaches, and mini coaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including brake inspections and repairs, A/C service, DOT annual inspections, and light and wiring repairs.
  • Conduct oil changes and PM services, and utilize computer diagnostics to diagnose and repair issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and comply with all company, OSHA, EPA, and DOT rules and guidelines.
  • Perform quality work in a timely manner, and complete all work orders as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in automotive repair, with a focus on diesel and gas engine repair.
  • Driver's License required, CDL A or B preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to extra hours when needed.
  • Must have own tools.
