Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Stepdown Unit at Carondelet St. Marys Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, implementing and monitoring care plans, and collaborating with other disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and coordinate patient care, implementing and monitoring care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, provision of ordered treatments, and patient education.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care, from admission to discharge.
  • Document patient care in the healthcare record, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
Requirements
  • Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
