Soliant is currently seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists for a rewarding contract position. This opportunity is ideal for professionals looking to make a significant impact in the lives of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students who may have speech and language disorders.
- Engage in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings to assess student needs and formulate effective strategies.
- Conduct therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, for students facing speech and language challenges.
- Design and share personalized education plans with parents and educational staff.
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families regarding speech and language issues.
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports for all students under your care.
- Organize and manage student caseloads while developing schedules for each assigned institution.
- Create and implement resource materials to aid in speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of California Special Education protocols and best practices for school-based SLPs.
- Demonstrated professionalism and accountability in all aspects of work.
