Radiology Technologist - Medical Imaging Specialist

Whitecap Search is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to fill a prestigious position at a leading healthcare institution.

Job Function:
  • Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain high-quality medical images as requested by physicians and medical professionals.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain medical equipment according to established policies and procedures.
  • Explain medical procedures to patients in a clear and concise manner, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
  • Maintain all medical equipment for procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and physical well-being.
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques and adhering to safety protocols.
Job Requirements:
  • At least one year of experience as a General Radiology Technologist or equivalent medical imaging experience.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of various medical imaging equipment, including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care.
  • Stay current with trends and advances in clinical practice, medical imaging technology, and healthcare informatics.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program or equivalent medical imaging education.
  • ARRT certified or equivalent medical imaging certification.
  • BLS certification from a reputable organization.
