Job Title: Lube Technician - Domestic

Castle Autoplex, McHenry is seeking a Part-Time Lube Technician to join our team. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the vehicles that come into our service department are properly maintained and serviced.

Responsibilities:
  • Test and inspect vehicles to ensure all systems and components are secure and functioning properly.
  • Isolate and diagnose issues with vehicles, using your analytical skills to identify the root cause of the problem.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure, cleaning and lubricating fittings, and installing new oil train plugs and oil filters.
  • Communicate with teammates to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery.
  • Repair or replace worn parts to prevent vehicle breakdown or damage.
  • Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.
Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities.
  • Effective analytical and communication skills, with a willingness to improve and learn new technology.
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred).
  • One year in a service department.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
