Job Summary

Pro Action of Steuben and Yates is seeking a skilled Weatherization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the community with weatherization upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform weatherization improvements on homes, including installing blown-in insulation and air sealing measures.
  • Utilize general carpentry skills to install replacement windows and doors.
  • Work efficiently to maximize time and resources, and collaborate with team members to meet contracts.
  • Participate in ongoing training activities to stay current with procedures and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with home weatherization improvements and installation of insulation and air sealing measures.
  • General carpentry skills and ability to install replacement windows and doors.
  • Valid driver's license meeting agency standards.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., crawl, climb ladders, and use hand and power tools.
