Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research and interviews to uncover hidden trends and insights in sports news
• Write compelling feature stories that highlight the human side of sports
• Deliver thoughtful analysis and predictions that tell readers where the story is going next
• Produce high-quality game coverage, including photos and videos
• Maintain a strong online presence through social media and website posts
• Identify and cultivate sources within the community and region
• Meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or communications
• Strong research and writing skills
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
• Knowledge of AP style
• Experience with social media and online content creation
