POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of healthcare Providers, the Acute Care Director, and the Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive care to patients through the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
The nursing staff collaborates with various professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Nurses maintain professional standards while interacting with patients and their families.In the hospital setting, nurses provide care for both pediatric and adult patients, managing their needs before and after surgical interventions, as well as addressing a wide array of medical conditions.
The Registered Nurse provides guidance to LPNs, CNAs, housekeeping, and dietary staff while receiving direction from healthcare Providers, the Acute Care Director, the Charge Nurse, and the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Graduation from an accredited RN nursing program is mandatory.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
No prior experience is necessary; however, experience in Med/Surgical nursing and pediatric nursing is preferred.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Montana RN Licensure is required.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications must be obtained within six months of hire.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Understanding of basic nursing principles and procedures.
Proficiency in basic office skills and IV administration.
