Job Summary
This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as a full-time Dental Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our experienced dentists and support staff to ensure seamless delivery of treatment plans. We offer a competitive salary of $24.00 to $34.00 per hour, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Assist dentists with procedures, maintaining accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and needs.
- Document patient records and maintain accurate files.
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
- X-Ray certification required; Expanded Functions (EFDA) Certificate preferred.
- Two years' experience in a dental office environment is desirable.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
