Job Title: Stocker - Perishables

At Restaurant Depot, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stocker - Perishables to join our team. As a Stocker - Perishables, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking product on shelves, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to our customers.
  • Remove boxes from pallets and place them on shelves, as well as open boxes and remove single items to re-stock shelves.
  • Organize and front-face items on shelves to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
  • Perform regular inspections to meet HACCP regulations and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in reviewing inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages.
  • Verify that shelf pricing is accurate and reflects the most recent pricing.
  • Follow a regular maintenance schedule to maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse, including scrubbing and pulling out pallets and cleaning underneath.
  • Continuously review the status of department floors for safety hazards and promptly and safely handle any spills and remove any trash.
  • Work with Hi-Lo operators to ensure the selling floor remains stocked and safe by promptly returning overstock pallets to the overhead reserves.
  • Promptly inform supervisors of any low stock or out-of-stock merchandise.
Physical Demands:
  • Walk/stand on concrete for up to 10 hours/day.
  • Frequently turn, stand, reach, stoop, and/or bend.
  • Frequently push/pull objects 500 to 1,500 lbs.
  • Frequently lift/carry objects more than 60 lbs.
Work Environment:
  • Requires frequent exposure to cold/freezing temperatures.
  • Equipment in motion (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scooters).
  • Performs other work-related duties as required and assigned.
  • May be required to work in other departments as needed.
