Meat Wrapper

We are seeking a skilled Meat Wrapper to join our team at US Foods Inc. in St Paul. As a Meat Wrapper, you will be responsible for wrapping and packaging meat products to meet customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Pick and pack orders according to customer requirements.
- Scan products to capture required data.
- Transport and package products using prescribed equipment.
- Sort, organize, and repack products to assist production.
- Ship and receive products using assigned material handling equipment.
- Perform facility sanitation duties as required.
- Operate production equipment for further processing.
- Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Production and/or warehouse experience in a food environment preferred.
- Able to work overtime as needed.
- Manual dexterity.
- Able to lift over 50-60 pounds regularly and 80-100 pounds occasionally.
- Able to bend, twist, grasp, reach, push, and use repetitive motions as required.
- Able to withstand temperatures of 35-45 degrees Fahrenheit for periods of 2-3 hours.
- Occasional sitting.
- Continuous standing.
- Frequent walking.
- Occasional driving.
The expected compensation for this role is $21.94 per hour. This role is also eligible for overtime compensation and benefits, including health insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
