Cardiac Telemetry Nurse

The Cardiac Telemetry Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team who ensures patients receive individualized high-quality, safe patient care. This role requires a proactive and analytical approach to delivering evidence-based practice in a clinical environment administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements individualized care plans using evidence-based practice and analytical thinking.
- Provides relationship-based patient-centered care that adapts to cultural diversity, promoting a respectful clinical environment.
- Collaborates with patients and significant others to set and achieve care goals, ensuring seamless transitions across the care continuum.
- Practices current clinical standards and coordinates safe quality patient care, prioritizing patient needs and well-being.
- Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration, participating in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Serves as a preceptor and/or mentor for other nurses, promoting professional development and growth.
- Promotes evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Upholds healthcare system policies and procedures, adhering to regulatory requirements and maintaining confidentiality.
- Participates in data collection and consults experts to address practice questions, informing decision-making and improving patient care.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact licensure
- BLS Certification or Instructor status
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience is required, with a strong preference for candidates with previous experience in cardiac telemetry.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Optimizes technology to support clinical care, leveraging digital tools to streamline processes and improve patient outcomes.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies.
- Excellent time management skills, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
- Ability to think critically and make sound judgments, applying evidence-based practice to complex situations.
