Job Title: Coach Cleaner

Herzog Transit Services, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Coach Cleaner to join their team in Austin, TX. As a Coach Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of train equipment, adhering to HTSI and Capital Metro's standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize train cars, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sweeping, and washing walls and windows.
  • Use chemical cleaners in accordance with guidelines and procedures.
  • Maintain equipment and tools necessary for the job.
  • Ensure punctuality and attendance.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of commercial cleaning requirements.
  • Experience with cleaning equipment.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to walk on uneven surfaces.
  • Lift weight up to 20 pounds.
  • Adapt to various temperatures.
  • Tolerate repetitive movements.
  • Ascend/descend platforms and stairs.
  • Bend, crouch, stand, and sit for extended periods.
  • Be aware of surroundings and follow instructions.
  • Exposure to chemical cleaners.
