The Burke Center is seeking a skilled Nurse (LVN or RN) to join our team at the Polk Mental Health Clinic in Livingston, TX. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing services to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:

* Provide nursing services to clients, including tracking and administering medications, lab tracking, and completing nursing assessments.
* Conduct AIMS tests, complete medication consents, and oversee the indigent medication program.
* Complete refills for prescriptions, obtain insurance prior authorizations, and answer patient phone questions.
* Maintain accurate inventory of medications, provide patient education, and document patient information.
* Coordinate drug representative visits and supervise non-licensed medical support staff as assigned.

Requirements:

* Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and licensure as a Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse by the Texas State Board of Nursing examiners.
* One year of experience working with individuals having mental illness in an inpatient or community setting (preferred for LVN).
* Six months of experience as a RN working with individuals having mental illness in an inpatient or community setting (preferred).
* Valid Texas driver's license and a driving record insurable by Burke's insurance administrator.

Working Conditions:

* Must be physically able to complete SAMA training modules, CPR, and First Aid training.
* Must have a working knowledge of computers and be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and drive a vehicle.

Salary:

$43,056 - $56,650 annually, depending on licensure and experience.
