Certified Nursing Assistant Job Description

Villa At Borgess Place is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional patient care and support our team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Provide physical support for patients' daily needs, including transferring to/from bed, walking, standing, or exercising.
  • Administer medication and supplements as directed by a licensed nurse.
  • Ensure patients receive proper nutrition and hydration based on their dietary needs.
  • Monitor patients for signs of illness or injury, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in urine.
  • Document patient behavior and changes in mood, and communicate with the healthcare team as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including cleaning rooms and bed linens.
  • Take vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate, under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • State Certified Nursing Assistant License/Certification.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn company applications.
