Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Utilize effective communication skills to educate patients and their families about the testing process and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the exam.
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) certification required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
