Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Blood Bank Technologist to join our team at a top facility in the Baltimore, Maryland area. As a Blood Bank Technologist, you will be responsible for performing clinical laboratory procedures, examinations, and other tests pursuant to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform clinical laboratory procedures, examinations, and other tests pursuant to established protocols.
  • Maintain equipment and records, and perform quality assurance activities related to examination performance.
  • Exercise independent judgment and responsibility in performing duties.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college or university.
  • ASCP or NCA certification required.
  • 2 years of satisfactory work experience in an accredited clinical laboratory, including 1 year in a laboratory with range and volume of testing, and types of instrumentation similar to this institution.
