Senior Fabrication Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Welder to join our team at Transtech Energy. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for fabricating steel products, including ASME pressure vessels and related accessories. Your expertise in industrial welding processes, such as GMAW (MIG), FCAW (FLUXCORE), and SAW (SUBARC), will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Follow strict safety regulations and maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
- Apply the correct weld to workpieces using specialized machinery.
- Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.
- Set up welding machines to operate within approved parameters.
Requirements:
- Experience with industrial welding processes, including GMAW (MIG), FCAW (FLUXCORE), and SAW (SUBARC).
- Ability to read blueprints and understand measurements.
- Knowledge of overhead crane operation.
- Pulsed MIG welding experience is required.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $45-$60 per hour, depending on experience.
