JOB SUMMARY
The Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist is tasked with producing high-quality radiographic images efficiently while prioritizing patient care across all age groups.
This role requires a comprehensive understanding of growth and development principles relevant to various patient demographics (neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) to ensure that the care provided addresses the distinct physical and psychosocial needs of each patient.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Preferred Associate's Degree in a relevant field.
High School Diploma is preferred, along with graduation from an AMA-JCH accredited program in Radiological Technology.
Less than 2 years of experience, including a minimum of six months of specialized training in cardiovascular and interventional procedures, is required.
ARRT certification is mandatory.
Certifications required include:
- ARRT - Registered Radiologic Technologist
- CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
SPECIFIC SKILLS
Comprehensive knowledge of catheters, guide wires, needles, dilators, and other angiographic tools utilized in the cardiovascular laboratory setting.
