Role Responsibilities
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will conduct diagnostic tests and medical research.
Your responsibilities will include preparing and administering small doses of radiopharmaceuticals to patients and utilizing advanced imaging technology to capture images of the radioactive substances within the body.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, medical physicists, and nursing staff, to ensure optimal patient care.
Key Duties:
- Execute nuclear medicine procedures, including routine diagnostics and therapeutic interventions.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to established safety protocols and infection control measures.
Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
- State License as a Radiological Practical Technician.
- Completion of a vocational program.
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) is necessary.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
