Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist

Candidates are sought for a Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist role at Norman Regional Health System. This position involves preparing equipment and providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures. The successful candidate will maintain a sterile environment, assess patient conditions, and support new hires and students in their orientation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
Requirements:
- Completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.

We work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists. Our facilities include three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
Benefits:
The compensation package includes $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
