The Ultrasound Technologist administers ultrasound procedures to pregnant patients, operates ultrasound equipment, prepares patient rooms, equipment and supplies. This role requires assisting with invasive procedures, Doppler studies, biophysical profiles, high-detail Level 2 ultrasounds and anatomy surveys. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of patient care and be proficient in ultrasound equipment and patient care equipment. Familiarity with McKesson PACS and Epic EMR is preferred.
Responsibilities:- Administer ultrasound procedures to pregnant patients
- Operate ultrasound equipment and prepare patient rooms, equipment and supplies
- Assist with invasive procedures, Doppler studies, biophysical profiles, high-detail Level 2 ultrasounds and anatomy surveys
- Prepare patient rooms, equipment and supplies
- Graduate or student in a program accredited by an agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), United States Department of Education (USDOE) or Canadian Medical Association (CMA)
- Currently registered in OB/GYN (OB) and Fetal Echo (FE) and certified in Nuchal Translucency (NT) and Cervical Length (CLEAR)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life support for the Healthcare provider (BLS) or an American Heart Association (AHA) approved equivalent
