Position Overview:

As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive physical therapy services to a diverse patient population, aiming to enhance their physical capabilities and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough physical therapy assessments and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities to promote recovery, alleviate discomfort, and prevent further complications following illness or injury.
  • Provide care to patients across all demographics, including children, adults, and seniors.
  • Oversee the work of physical therapy assistants, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
  • Mentor and support assigned staff, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program, holding a BS, MS, or DPT degree.
  • Current maintenance of continuing education units (CEUs) as mandated by state regulations.
  • No prior experience is necessary; however, preference will be given to candidates with two years of relevant experience.
  • Possession of a valid Physical Therapist License in Georgia or compact privileges.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association is required.
