Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux System Engineer to join our team at ManTech. As a key member of our Enterprise Infrastructure Services organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Linux-based systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy Linux software and hardware systems to meet organizational needs
  • Configure systems to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Create and maintain detailed system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and change management logs
  • Collaborate with team members to build applications for customers
  • Provide support and troubleshooting services for customers
  • Write scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • TS/SCI with full scope polygraph
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical discipline
  • Experience with LINUX scripting, installing software and hardware
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to analyze user requirements and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements
  • Support the planning and test analysis of the DoD Certification/Accreditation Process
  • Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of hardware/software systems
  • Configure and manage LINUX operating systems and installs/loads operating systems software, troubleshoot maintain integrity of and configure network components
Clearance Requirements
  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Full Scope Polygraph
  • Must be a US Citizen
Physical Requirements
  • The candidate must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer's desk
  • Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication
