Trying Together is seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Intervention Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to support early learning programs in Allegheny County.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Strategies: Collaborate with early learning program administrators and educators to identify areas of need and develop targeted strategies to support young children at risk of suspension or expulsion.
- Build and Maintain Partnerships: Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including early intervention agencies, behavioral health providers, and infant/early childhood mental health specialists, to ensure a comprehensive support system for early learning programs.
- Design and Implement Referral Process: Develop a streamlined process for referrals from early learning programs, early intervention, and families, ensuring timely and effective support for children at risk.
- Provide Consultation and Support: Serve as a consultant to early learning program administrators and educators, providing guidance and support to help them develop strategies to support children and families.
- Collect and Analyze Data: Gather and analyze data to inform program development and ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the ELRC 5 Quality Coach, program directors, teaching staff, early intervention staff, and other stakeholders to assess and develop strategies to support families and children.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field, and five years of related experience in early childhood intervention or human/social services.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to work with diverse populations, maintain confidentiality, and interact with others in a positive and professional manner.
- Certifications and Clearances: Clean Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance, Clean Act 34 PA State Police Clearance, Clean Act 73 Federal Criminal History Clearance, National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR) Verification, and valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
