Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist for a travel assignment in a large 300-bed facility in the Midwest.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment. As a travel Ultrasound Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills and expertise to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound procedures on patients, including echocardiograms, abdominal scans, and obstetric ultrasounds
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Develop and implement patient education plans, promoting health and wellness
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of ultrasound technology and patient care

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a strong focus on patient safety and satisfaction
