We are seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team at Della Infotech in Des Moines, IA. As an Audiologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to Patient Care
    • Maintain and consistently demonstrate competency in all areas of assigned client care needs and seek out additional information, in-services, or educational opportunities to remain competent and current.
  • Coordinate Schedules and Assignments
    • Effectively coordinate schedule and assignments in order to assure maximum productivity, efficiency, and meet deadlines and commitment to customers, including patients, other physical medicine staff members, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Administer and Evaluate Audiometric Tests
    • Administer and evaluate videonystagmography tests.
    • Perform electroacoustic analysis of hearing aids for documentation of function and troubleshooting.
    • Perform real ear analysis/speech mapping for optimal tuning and adjusting of hearing aids.
  • Conduct Audiometric Hearing Tests
    • Conduct all components of a complete audiometric hearing test battery as needed for differential diagnosis of hearing loss or other specific test objectives for pediatric through geriatric life stages.
  • Provide Patient Counseling
    • Provide counseling to patients and families concerning the current function of the hearing mechanism, the nature of the hearing loss, the use of hearing aids, or the handicapping effects of hearing loss.

    • MUST have an active license.
  • IA Specific License
    • MUST be willing to obtain an IA specific license to dispense Hearing Aids.
  • Peds & Adolescent Age Group Experience
    • Peds & Adolescent age group experience.
  • Outpatient Experience
    • Outpatient experience needed.
