Job Summary:

Catholic Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Infusion Therapy Specialist. This is a per diem position that requires the ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer infusion therapy to patients in a home care setting
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine the best course of treatment
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide education to patients and families on infusion therapy and related topics

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN degree
  • Licensure and current registration as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York
  • Current BLS certification
  • PICC Certification and CRNI certification preferred
  • One year of experience with central catheters and PICC lines

Working Conditions:

  • May be exposed to high crime areas within the community
  • Endures exposure to weather and temperature extremes
