Job Summary and Qualifications:
We are looking for a Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) who will provide expertise and champion patient care. Our team is exceptional, and we strive to support one another, seeking a remarkable addition who shares our commitment to meaningful patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Conduct timely and high-quality radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
- Perform quality control checks and audits on radiologic equipment.
- Conduct drug screens, urinalysis, and other in-house lab tests, including processing specimens for reference laboratories.
- Maintain records and logs on activities, including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent to other labs.
- Ensure adherence to occupational client preference cards and procedures.
- Assist with general patient care as needed.
Qualifications:
You should possess:
- A degree from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
- A Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in your state of residency.
- A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is advantageous.
- The ability to obtain BLS Certification within 30 days of employment.
- Office Laboratory Assistant License if required by state regulations.
Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Additionally, you must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within three months of employment or promotion.
Operational Hours:
The CareNow Urgent Care Clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 9 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Flexibility to work during these hours is required.
