Key Responsibilities:- Ensure that physicians' medication orders are accurately and timely implemented, including delivery to outside facilities.
- Maintain compliance with Federal and state regulations regarding medical services.
- Delegate tasks to certified nursing assistants, medication technicians, or unlicensed personnel as needed.
- Collaborate with the Nursing Supervisor to address potential issues and concerns.
- Participate in Treatment Teams, Panel Review, Department Head, and General Staff meetings.
- Manage nursing team schedules, conduct performance improvement activities, and prepare monthly reports.
- Review and resolve client clinical complaints, intervene in crisis situations, and perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Licensed in NH as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with 3-5 years of experience.
- Prior experience in substance abuse, mental health treatment, or addiction medicine is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies.
- Fundamental knowledge of professional nursing principles, techniques, basic addiction medicine science, and community health and welfare resources.
- Ability to carry out written and oral instructions, exercise judgment in nursing care, and work cooperatively with others.
- Computer proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Suite.
- Satisfactory background check and drug screen.
