Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care/Medication Technician to join our team at The Park At Oak Grove. As a key member of our care team, you will provide hands-on care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

As a Care/Medication Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing care and support to a designated group of residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Observing and reporting changes in resident condition, including skin, behavior, alertness, weight, dietary, and participation in activities.
  • Responding promptly to security system and resident call bells, and notifying supervisors and/or Health Care Coordinators of any changes in resident condition.
  • Assisting with continence management, serving and collecting food trays, and maintaining the cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
  • Practicing good standard care precautions, including cleanliness, hygiene, and health.
  • Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety, and engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
  • Providing excellent customer service, greeting and assisting internal and external customers, guests, family members, residents, vendors, and team members.
  • Performing resident laundry as assigned and needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certified Nurse's Aid certification preferred.
  • High School diploma/GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • CPR Certification preferred.
  • First Aid Certification preferred.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
