As an Echo Technician, you will work under the direction of supervising physicians in the Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab, preparing patients for examinations, performing 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode, and Doppler studies, and preparing preliminary interpretations of those studies.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examinations and perform all required studies.
  • Prepare preliminary interpretations of studies and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, faculty, and other physicians.
  • Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
  • Ability to read, interpret, apply, and follow physicians' orders, policies, procedures, or written and verbal instructions.
