We are currently seeking a Fleet Maintenance Operations Supervisor to join our management team and contribute to the ongoing success of our organization. The Fleet Maintenance Operations Supervisor will provide guidance, leadership, and technical knowledge to staff and designated service centers, emphasizing outstanding customer service while maintaining cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee team operations related to vehicle maintenance, reporting, scheduling, and compliance.
  • Conduct training, performance reviews, and coaching for team members.
  • Build partnerships with local businesses to communicate and uphold corporate fleet policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with management to execute operational strategies and enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure operational requirements are met by coordinating production standards and procedures while adhering to cost and quality commitments.
  • Promote a culture of safety by implementing and enforcing all safety protocols.
  • Engage with customers through field visits to stay informed about vehicle operations.
  • Address escalated service issues and provide support during critical situations.
  • Maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Work alongside management to optimize team resources for quality service delivery and performance metrics.
  • Ensure accuracy in invoices, purchase orders, maintenance records, and vehicle data.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs, including but not limited to: brake systems, tires, electrical systems, and state inspections.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of relevant experience (automotive shop experience preferred). Alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Proficient in fleet management software and Microsoft applications.
  • Strong analytical skills for data evaluation and policy recommendations.
  • Excellent record-keeping and reporting abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with team members and business partners.
  • Ability to manage expectations and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain necessary operator's licenses if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a technical environment.
  • ASE certification as a Master Technician.
  • Experience with transmission, diesel, and hydraulic systems.
