We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse ICU to join our team at Kindred Healthcare. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients with medically complex conditions, general medical-surgical conditions, and rehabilitation and/or wound care needs.
- Supervise and delegate patient care tasks to LVN/LPN or CNA and other patient care team members.
- Promote teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an ICU environment.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current ACLS certification.
